Meet our Staff

I was born and raised near Topeka, Kansas. I received my undergraduate and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University in 1994. After 4 years of mixed animal practice with my brother in Kansas, I moved to Phoenix in the spring of 1998. Since living in Phoenix, I have enjoyed practicing small animal medicine. I am married and have three daughters, Gentry, who was born in 1997, Sadie, who was born in 1998, and Kinsey, who was born in 2007.

I was raised in a small town in Colorado. After attending undergraduate and graduate school at Colorado State University, I decided to move to the Caribbean and experience veterinary school on the beach! I received my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in January 2006. I did my internship in emergency medicine and surgery in Rochester, NY and moved to Arizona shortly after to be closer to my family. I have been practicing small animal medicine in the Phoenix area for the past 2.5 years. I just married Neil, the love of my life, in November 2009. We live in Surprise with 4 pets including two Labrador Retrievers, Jager and Kahlua, and two cats, Jacinda and Ziggy.
